Nominations are being accepted for the SGCC Board of Directors. Elections are held in January, prior to the Annual General Meeting.
The Nomination form is available <HERE>. The deadline to submit is November 30th. Contact one of the Nominations Committee members listed on the form, or McLaren in the office for more details.
Members who have pre-paid their 2023 membership dues are eligible for
weekly draws for $500 in Pro Shop Credit. The first draw will be on Monday at 3pm, and all names are eligible for all draws…so there could be up to seven chances to win. So far, 185 members have prepaid for 2023.
And since we missed these in the last update, congratulations to
Brad Hritzuk and
Dale Kelly on their
Hole-in-One on October 16th…the last day the course was open. Brad got his on Hole #8, while Dale’s came on hole #12. And since Dale started on hole 13 (due to the frost delay earlier in the day)…it was the last shot of his round, and the last shot he hit at SGCC this year.
Year-end wrap-up and final reports are in the works, including results of the 2022 Member Survey. Thanks for all your feedback. Overall, it was another great year for SGCC, and we look forward to another in 2023.
