- Members on the monthly payment plan can avoid the PST by following the same rule of “billed and paid” by September 30th…which means leaving the monthly payment plan for 2023. And for all members on the monthly payment plan, watch for an email next week with an option to bill and pay the final 2022 payment (October) before the September deadline.
Congratulations to all the winners in last weekend’s Partner’s Tournament. The overall Champions were Carla Odnokon and Carol Spanks in the Women’s Division, and Denver Grolla and Milt Grolla in the Men’s Division. Full results are available <HERE>. Thanks again to the event sponsors: Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop (Bryce Hunter), Groundkeeper Fertilizer (Wayne Thiessen), and MNP (Jason Watt).
Did you know…SGCC was well represented in competitive golf around the Province this summer. Most recently, Dennis Vezeau and Kim Brown won the Saskatchewan Mixed Team Championship. Kathy Ziglo won the Women’s Lobstick to go with a win at the Women’s Northern earlier in the year. Flight winners at the Women's Lobstick included Abra Thompson, Kris Gunn, and Lisa Yuel. Earlier in the season, Scott Gordon and Dale Huber were flight winners at the Senior Men’s Lobstick. Staffer Max Regier won the Junior Lobstick to go with a Provincial Championship in the U17 category. And we had great representation by SGCC Junior Members in the MJT series this summer. Grace Odnokon, Lucas Sturgeon, and Jack Maharaj all had wins and qualified for MJT Nationals. Ty Nochowny, and Kensi Bourassa had wins on the MJT Mini Tour. Congratulations to all the winners…and anyone we missed in our research.
Congratulations to Gerry Kelln on his Hole-in-One yesterday on Hole #12.
And as a final note: Terry delivered the last load of sand this morning to finish the bunker project. At 58,000 square feet, and about 1200 tonnes of sand it was a huge project and the extra effort through the summer was much appreciated.
Have a Great Weekend,
