Men’s Night goes for another 2 rounds on September 6th and September 13th. Next week’s sponsor is
Collision Plus Autobody (Dale Huber) and Buy Local (Conrad Bendig).
The Couples Classic sponsored by
Arcon Services (Duane Panko) and Avanto (Alex Burko) is sold out next Sunday September 11th.
2023 Membership Pre-Payment
As you may be aware, the Government of Saskatchewan announced in March that PST will apply to admissions, entertainment, and recreational memberships. This includes golf memberships and green fees for anyone age 18 and over as of October 1, 2022.
The transition rules allow us to collect next year’s fees without PST, provided the transactions are billed and paid prior to the October 1 deadline.
With that, the SGCC Board has approved 2023 rates to facilitate a pre-payment option that will be available next week. <READ MORE>
Did you know...that the golf course is in great shape this year. I'm sure you've noticed because it really is fantastic. Timely rains got us rolling in the spring, and certain spots have really improved with the removal of aging Poplar trees. However, several members have expressed concern with how many divots aren't being fixed on the fairways.
Please remember to fix your divots out there. Sand bottles are supplied on most of our carts, and bottles with special hangers are available for any carts that don't. Fixing divots and ball marks should never be treated as optional.
Have a Great Weekend,
McLaren Taylor
