The Couples Classic on September 11th starts taking entries today at 12 Noon. Click <HERE> to enter your team. It’s a 2:00 shotgun start…modified alternate shot format open to any Member/Member or Member/Guest couple. Thanks to our Sponsors Duane Panko (Arcon Services) and Alex Burko (Avantor – VWR). Golf, supper, and prizes are included at $35 for Members and $65 for non-members (includes green fee) Cart is extra.
The Partners Tournament presented by Tommy Guns (Bryce Hunter), Groundkeeper Fertilizer (Wayne Thiessen), and MNP (Jason Watt) is the next SGCC Major on September 3,4,5. The Men’s Division has a waiting list. The deadline for additional women’s teams in the Partner’s Tournament is today at 12 Noon. Click <HERE> to register. Remaining spots after Noon today will be filled from the waiting list. A draw will be posted next Thursday morning. Please advise the Pro Shop of any changes well in advance
Men’s Night on Tuesday (starting at 3:30 PM) is sponsored by BIG (Wes Ramsay), TD Wealth (Andrew Tennent) and IG Wealth Management (Michael Burgess).
Women’s Night on Wednesday (starting at 4:00PM) is the last one this year, sponsored by SGCC.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Diana Pickett next Thursday September 1st from 2 pm – 5 pm. Those who knew Diana well, and her contributions to SGCC, are welcome to join her Family in the service.
The SGCC Junior Academy Clothing is with the embroidery company now and should be in later next week…certainly by the first week of September. We appreciate your patience with the shipping delays.
The SGCC Junior Windup will be held on Sunday September 18th. Watch for details next week, but right now the plan will be afternoon tee-times on the regular course, games on the 3-hole practice loop, and a BBQ from 4-6 pm.
