The Spring Thaw presented by Collision Plus Autobody was won by the team of Terrill Swaney, Jerry Valcamp, Justin Chalifour and Landon Parrington. Results and team photo are published on the SGCC Majors Page.

There were lots of great comments on the course conditions through the event last weekend. The bunker project is ongoing with #14, #15, and nearly all of #16 complete. The new sand is being packed as it goes in but will be a little soft until we get a few good rainy days.

Remember to sand divots and fix ball marks on the course. Par 3’s in particular need attention when fixing ball marks.

Congratulations to Hanif Hemani on his Hole-in-One Tuesday May 31st on Hole #15.

Volunteer sign-up sheets for the Reliance Gregg’s Central Amateur on July 1-3 have been posted in the Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms. Anyone interested in starting, spotting, or scoring can sign-up on the sheet or contact Brianne or McLaren by email: [email protected].

Sunday Brunch continues from 10:00-1:00 every Sunday.

The first Ladies Brunch is Monday June 6th at 11:00.

The Saskatoon Women’s Amateur Championship is here at SGCC next weekend June 11-12. Tee times are from 10-1:00 each day and play should be wrapping up at around 5-5:30 on Sunday.

Father’s Day June 19th is ALL YOU CAN EAT RIBS for $28 from 5-8 pm. And don’t forget there’s regular Sunday Brunch on Father’s Day too. Registration for both is on the Club Calendar, or contact Kayla: [email protected].

Junior playing privileges (weekdays 10-4 and after 5:30) now permit a Junior Member to play anytime Mon-Fri when accompanied by and adult Member. The online system follows the hourly restriction, so contact the Pro Shop to add a Junior to your booking before 10 am and 4-5:30. Weekends and Holidays privileges have not changed.

The Restaurant opens daily at 9 am with kitchen service until the last golfer is off the course. The Grab & Go BBQ is back Friday-Sunday. The steak & mushroom smokie from Pig and Pantry has been a big hit...only available here at SGCC!
