We experienced mixed weather this week, but overall, the league startups were well attended and a good start to the season.

  • Men’s Night next Tuesday is sponsored by NSBA (Keith Moen) and Trademark Designs (Jeff Taylor)
  • Women’s Night next Wednesday is sponsored by SGCC

Volunteers are needed for the Canadian Men’s Amateur in August. Hosting a championship of this magnitude requires a large team of volunteers. If you’re interested in contributing your time, we’d love to have you on board. Further details on that can be found <HERE>. The sign-up process only takes a few minutes to gather your information, including your uniform size. Visit the SIGN-UP PORTAL <HERE>

Junior News (emails this week) included information on ongoing lesson programs, and the “Junior Spring Thaw” May 25th on the 3-hole loop. We’re really hoping to get large group of Juniors out to the loop for a variety of games and contests. Visit the Junior Page <HERE> for details and sign-up link.

Sunday Brunch starts this Sunday from 10am-1pm

Heading into the Long Weekend, remember that tee-time lottery requests need to be in by Monday at 12Noon for tee times Friday-Sunday next week. Then on Thursday next week, draws will be made for Monday-Thursday the following week.

Tee time intervals will change slightly on June 1st, for tee-times booked after 9:00am. We’re moving from the current 7/8-minute intervals to 9-minute intervals in an effort improve pace-of-play. While the change will result in fewer “bookable” tee-times between 9am and 7pm, the tee-sheet typically has opening during this time, and spacing the booked times further apart is expected to improve the pace throughout the day.

The Pro Shop has Titleist TSR Drivers on SALE, as well as upcoming club fitting days listed <HERE>

Have a Great Long Weekend.
