Weather has been a hot topic for everyone this week. But while temperature gets all the attention, the days are getting noticeably longer, which is a better sign that we’re over the winter hump. In fact, it’s safe to say that golf season is only 10-12 weeks away.
Membership Billing was processed earlier this week and January statements were issued yesterday. Anyone not on the monthly payment plan, or the early payment list, will see the annual dues on their statement. Any adjustments or category changes can be made by contacting the office. Fees are due April 1st. Anyone not planning to return should contact the office as soon as possible, as we do have individuals on a waitlist for the upcoming season.
Junior Memberships were not billed this week, as so many of our juniors are not attached to member accounts and don’t receive monthly statements. We’re working on change to move “attached” juniors into a separate group for admin/billing purposes. Members with a child or grandchild in a junior category can contact the office to pay, or watch for a separate communication on junior memberships next week.
Wednesday Women's Night information also goes out next week. Overall league plans are the same as last year with 60 spots open to non-member participants. Those ladies will receive invitations to renew early. SGCC Members don't need to register for the league in advance, as they can sign-up to play anytime during the season.
Valentine’s Day Supper is coming up on February 14th. Make it a “date night” with pre-ordered items like Italian Crusted Chicken, Ginger Miso Cod, Love Chop, and Beef Wellington. Details are <HERE> on the Club Calendar. Reservations are taken here in the general office.
Club Tournament Dates can now be found on the Club Calendar, starting with the Spring Thaw on May 25 & 26 sponsored by Collision Plus Autobody. Entries are open now for the Reliance Gregg’s Central Amateur June 29-July 1, and the Club Championship is not listed yet as the dates are TBD.
F&B Events on the calendar are “coming soon”, but watch for Easter Brunch to kick things off on March 31st.
