Last weekend’s Frostbite Champions were the team of Regan Espeseth, Ben Vander Kooi, Gavin Schmitt, and Jonny Bell. Full results and photo of the winners can be found on <HERE> on the SGCC Major’s Page.

Work continues on the new tee-boxes on holes 15 and 18, with sod scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

The work area for the new putting green next to the 1st tee got a little larger today which takes away a small section of the range tee. The area for the putting surface has been marked and the surrounding area will be shaped, with drainage and irrigation installed next week.

Thanksgiving Buffet Supper on October 8th is sold out. Thanks for the support.

Congratulations to Chris Woodland on his Hole-in-One yesterday, September 28th on Hole #15.

Member Statements will be going out early next week. As a reminder, our year-end is October 31st and accounts should be brought up-to-date by the end of the month.

Starting next week:

  • The Pro Shop opens at 8am
  • Tee-times start at 9am
  • The Driving Range grass tees will be closed Monday and Range Mats will be in use for the remainder of the season

Weather permitting, the course and the Grab & Go will be open until Sunday October 15th.

October 15th is the last day for Restaurant Menu Service...so don't forget to use up any remaining F&B Credit before the 15th.

And...with 2-weeks left in the season, remember that under the new frost policy, play begins with the first tee-time booked after the course opens. Times that have passed have an opportunity to re-book into any openings or play the back-nine when it becomes available. Access to the back-nine also depends on frost and maintenance requirements.

The change in frost policy this year is a result of extended delays that occur when times are pushed back. Slow play also becomes an issue when too many groups are pushed out too fast in an effort to catch-up.

Have a Great Weekend,

McLaren Taylor
