A couple of points on Course Maintenance…remember the basic etiquette items like fixing divots and raking bunkers and repairing ball marks. YouTube has a good video <HERE> on the proper way to fix a ball mark. As mentioned previously, a little more attention is required on many of our greens this year. The practice of maintaining fast greens, in the current conditions, results in a very thin surface layer that is easily damaged. Following the advice in the video is important to speed the healing process.
And with very little rain this year, certain areas are getting dry as irrigation doesn't cover as well as a good rain. Whenever possible, keep carts out of the areas that are turning brown to limit further damage.
