Clubhouse maintenance will be happening during the morning hours next week. Contractors will be power washing and staining the siding on the upper areas. A lift will be in use for parts of the work, and access to some areas below may be disrupted, but overall, there should be little disruption to our regular traffic.

Men’s Night next week is sponsored by Ramada Hotel & Golf Dome (Darryl Caudle) and McDougall Gauley (Chad Haaf) and TD Wealth (Andrew Tennant)

Women’s Night is sponsored by SGCC

Save the Date for Father’s Day June 18 and the SGCC Patio Party on June 23rd.

The <Father’s Day Sale> is on now in the Pro Shop.

A TaylorMade Club Fitting Day is scheduled June 17th from 11-14 by appointment. Contact Sloane or Brennen to book.

The course is in great shape right now. Hot and humid conditions this time of year makes for longer rough. Like my own yard, it's getting thick out there, but it won't stay that way for long.

Chatting with early morning players today…the consensus was that ball marks and bunkers need a little more attention. The 8th green seems to the hardest hit…arguably because it’s the easiest to hit. And since the green is generally a bit softer, players should take a little more time to do a good job of fixing those pitch marks.

Junior News

SGCC had good representation at the City High School Championship earlier this week. Sarah Henderson won the Individual Girls, Braeden Kozak and Coben Taylor were 1st and 3rd in the Junior Boys, while Jack Maharaj and Brady Guenther were 2nd and 3rd in the Senior Boys division.

Spring Orientations, Group Lessons and Rules Clinics wrapped up at the end of May.

Juniors registered in the Academy who didn’t get their string bag and Kailani water bottle, can pick them up in the office along with lesson vouchers (2) to make-up for the sessions they missed.

Summer Junior Lesson programs and sign-up information is available <HERE>.

Have a Great Weekend,
