The change in weather spoiled an otherwise fast melt, along with the potential to open sooner than expected. Considering all the flax insulation has been removed from tees and greens, and it looks like the driving range and course will open sometime next week. So pretty much what we thought 3 weeks ago.

 

Watch for an update Monday or Tuesday with opening information and tee-time booking details.

 

The Pro Shop and Locker Rooms will be open this weekend from 8:30-4:30 for those who want to drop off clubs and get settled. Club storage is full, with 688 bags on 2-level racking. Please consider keeping your bag lean and free of clip-on devices if possible.

 

The Restaurant will open on Wednesday, April 26th with full menu service.

 

The “Season Opener” is on April 29th from 7-9 featuring food and drink samples and regular food service. Members are asked to RSVP <HERE> so that the F&B staff can prepare, but reservations are not required to attend.

 

New Members are invited to attend an information session in advance of the Season Opener, starting at 6:30. Register <HERE> if you are new this year or last year and want to learn more about SGCC.

 

Cinco de Mayo Margaritas are on special upstairs May 1-5, with Taco Specials available May 5th.

 

The Women’s Spring Meeting & Brunch on Sunday May 7th at 10am is taking registration <HERE>

 

Mother’s Day Brunch on May 14th has seatings from 9:30 to 1:30. Reserve through the Office at 306-931-0022 or email [email protected]. Adults $32, Seniors $28, Kids 6-12 $14, and 5 & under Free. Add flower arrangement for $25. The Menu is a little larger than Easter, with brunch favourites: bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns, fruits, salads…plus waffle station, omelet station, seafood platter, perogies, cabbage rolls, Danishes, and NEW chocolate fountain.
