Fixture Sheet

Outlines all the women’s activities over the 2026 season at the club. It also includes the prizes that will be given over the season.

2026 Prizes to be awarded to Ladies Membership at SGCC at either the opening or closing meetings:

  1. Handicap prizes awarded in three different index ranges (three prizes)
  2. Door Prize Draws - Opening and closing brunches (two prizes) 
  3. Birdie or Better Board – enter your name on the Birdie or Better Board if you get a birdie or better during any round in 2026. The birdie or better board is located in the women’s locker room and Diana’s Room - one entry/person (one prize)
  4. Women’s League Play – your name will automatically be entered into a draw at the Fall Wind-up Brunch. You get an entry each time you play in either a Tuesday or a Wednesday Ladies League Day. (one prize)
  5. Tuesday Ladies’ League Ringer board Prizes for Tuesday Ladies League play. This will be traced in Golf Genius. (two prizes)
  6. Tuesday Ladies League – Net birdie prizes awarded at first 4 shotgun starts

Final day for entering scores to qualify for Handicap Prizes – August 31, 2026. 

Final Day to enter information on Birdie or Better Board (located in Ladies Locker Room) is September 20, 2026 

 

Tuesday Morning League  

Opening day for Tuesday League play is May 12th. To sign up for Tuesday morning play, go to the “Women’s Golf Page” <HERE>. and click on the Tuesday sign-up button to enter your name. There will be no sign-up sheet in the Pro Shop this year. The Pro Shop staff can help if you have difficulty doing this the first time. Deadline to sign up for Tuesday’s is Sunday night. l

On the following Tuesdays, we will have a shotgun start at 8 am with a brunch to follow. 

June 2, June 30, July 21, and August 4.

All other Tuesdays will start at 9:30 am. The Pro Shop will assign tee times to mix up foursomes and allow members to play with as many different golfers as possible. 

Each Tuesday, we will use Golf Genius to track your scores. On days with a shotgun start, prizes will be awarded for a team prize and a net-birdie prize. At the end of the season, we will award prizes for the best net and best gross ringer board over the season, including both shotgun days and regular play. Ringer board is your best score on each hole over the Tuesday League play for ladies.

Wednesday Night League Play

Our first Wednesday Night League play starts on May 13th with a shotgun start at 4:30. The start times will change over the season depending on the daylight hours.

We invite all the SGCC members and the Wednesday league members to join us. SGCC members can also invite guests. Please contact the Pro Shop for guest rates.

To sign up for Wednesday Night League play, go to the “Women’s Golf Page” <HERE> and click on the Wednesday sign-up button to enter your name or on the Golf Genius APP use GGID: WNL2K26. You can register until noon on the day of the playing, Wednesday, as an individual or as a 2, 3 or foursome. The Pro Shop will always make sure you have a group to golf with. If you have to cancel, please call the Pro Shop to make them aware and so they can remove your name.

Each golfer will provide $5.00 for the weekly 50/50 draw and for random draws that evening. For SGCC members, it will be charged to your account each week. For non-members, it is included in your golf fees for that day.

You can join your fellow golfers after your round for a snack or a meal (from the menu). We will do the 50/50 draw, on-course prizes, and random draws at that time. If you are unable to stay after the golf and you have your name drawn, you can pick up any prizes in the Pro Shop. I will send out an email the next day to all.

We have designated sponsors each week. If you are interested or know of someone who may like to sponsor, please reach out to Brennan, Sloane, or McLaren.

Birdie or Better Board

In the Ladies Locker Room and Diana’s Room, there is a sheet to record your name if you get a birdie or better during the season. You do not need to note the hole, just record your name—one entry/per person. A prize will be awarded through a random draw at the Fall Wind-up Brunch.  

 

Captain’s Challenge

Our annual match play competition against the Riverside Ladies. A team of 12 ladies from each course competes in a net match play format. The 12 ladies are divided into three different handicap ranges: 0-14; 14.1 to 22, and 22.1 to 34. You play against players within your handicap range. 

Golf with carts is free at Riverside. At SGCC, the Riverside team is provided with free golf, the SGCC team is provided with free carts. 

Everyone is welcome to try to qualify for the team. Our qualifying dates for 2026 are Tuesday, May 26th, and Wednesday, May 27th (if bad weather on either day, we will move to the next week.

Competition dates: Tuesday, June 9th at SGCC and Tuesday, June 23rd at Riverside.
