Member Update

8/21/2026

A new look SGCC Website is set to launch on Monday morning. There will be a two-hour window sometime between 7am and 11am where the site is down entirely for the changeover. This will affect tee-time bookings through the website but not for anyone using the SGCC App. The app will still communicate with the tee sheet and members will be able to see and book tee-times on the app. Some other app functions like the calendar and member dashboard will be unavailable on the app during that time.

Men’s Night (3:30 start) next Tuesday is the second last one of the season sponsored by the Sask Entertainment Group (Saskatoon Blades Hockey, Saskatchewan Rush Lacrosse, and Saskatoon Berries Baseball)

Women’s Night (3:30 start) next Wednesday is the final event of the season sponsored by Jonas Golf (Patty Jonas), Maureen Stranaghan, and TAMA (Tabitha Ann Medical Aesthetics)

Just a note about tomorrow (Saturday) the Dining Room will be closed for a wedding. The Kinnear Room and Deck will be open but obviously space is limited in those areas.

SGCC Music Bingo is coming up on August 28th. Join us for a night of great music, friendly competition, and prizes! Instead of numbers, your bingo card features song titles. Listen for each song, mark it off if it’s on your card, and be the first to complete the winning pattern. Lucky Bastard Distillers is sponsoring prizes for every round. Gather your crew, book your table online or through the app, and come ready to play!

The Partners Tournament sold out quickly last Friday, but there may still be an opportunity to play as we only have 4 teams on the waitlist. Typically, there are changes/cancellations in the week prior to our larger events. The Partners Tournament is presented by Derek Kopp Realty, Reliance Gregg’s Home Services, Raymond James Financial, Interstate Batteries, and Jason Watt.

And finally, just a quick note about lotteries and tee-time bookings. It’s that time of year that our days are getting shorter. Tee times next week are moving back to 7am, and the sun is setting closer to 8pm. Annual corporate tournaments and the last league dates have a greater effect, and space for regular tee-time bookings becomes limited. However, once we get past the long weekend, there will be more times available during the week.

Have a Great Weekend.
