Congratulations to this week’s pro shop credit winner: Frank Hilbert
Next Friday will be the last draw for $500 in pro shop credit. Members who pre-pay their 2026 dues are eligible for a weekly $500 Pro Shop credit draw through December 19. Draws are made at 12Noon on Fridays…and there’s still time to get in on the remaining 2 draws. Contact the office at 306-931-0022 to arrange payment. Remember that a 2% fee applies to memberships paid by credit card. Alternative payment types include: Etransfers, Online Banking, cheques, and in-person debit.
Nominations for the Board of Directors received last week include: E.J. Babey, Joe Blondeau, Malcolm Meekins, Bill Muirhead, Zak Parker, Ian Poetker, Tyler (Sharpy) Sharp, and Dustin Skitcko. In addition, Wes Ramsay is letting his name stand for a second term. That’s 9 people for 3 positions.
Additional information will be provided next week on the candidates, the election process, 2025 financials, and the January 20th AGM.
Members Rewards are issued at this time of year for those who have at least $1250 in F&B spending on their club account. This year, there were 183 members who reached this level, which includes the F&B Minimum. They represent just over half of all member spending, which was $813,213 this year.
Those who qualified for rewards (guest fee & power cart vouchers) will see something in the mail next week…hopefully. And whether you qualified or not, we thank you for your continued support. It was another great year for the SGCC F&B operation.
Flags were lowered this week for the passing of Peggy Yano last Sunday. While she hadn’t played since 2023, Peggy was a member for 30 years, and while we have an age on file, I’m not sure that she ever shared the real one with us. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to her family, including SGCC Member Bill Yano.
