Fall Golf
It's hard to believe that September arrives this weekend. Temperatures this week have felt more like July, and the bugs more like June. Starting times are moving back again next week to 7:30am on Tuesday. With good weather, we plan to hold that until the week of September 15. Tee-times will move to 8am after the Frostbite, and then 9am the week of October 1st.
A course closing date has been set for Wednesday October 15. We’ve stayed open a few days longer in recent years but with some difficulty spraying and covering the greens due to frost and low daytime temperatures. Irrigation blowout is likely happening during play on October 13-15, and winterizing the greens will begin on October 16th.
F&B Services will also finish-up on October 15th, with grab-and-go and upstairs menu service, as long as the weather holds and the course remains open.
