There will be no commentary about the weather until things start to change for the better. Sunshine through the window is nice is nice, but at this time of year, a clean car should not last this long.
The Titleist club fitting tomorrow is full…but the 4 for 3 sale on Titleist dozens continues, and the deal has spread to Callaway and Taylor Made dozens. This is the best deal of the season. The Pro Shop continues to receive deliveries of merchandise for the upcoming season. Again, the shoe game this year looks outstanding, with Nike and Asics added to the usual lineup from FootJoy, Puma, and New Balance.
WANTED: CERTIFIED HANDICAP OFFICIAL
To maintain compliance with the World Handicap System, SGCC is required to have a Certified Handicap Official, and a Handicap Committee in place for the upcoming season. Training consists of a video that guides you through the Rules of Handicapping, and Certification can be achieved through a Golf Canada online seminar and certification test. If you or anyone you know is interested in certification, and or serving on a handicap committee, please email the office or call 306-931-0022.
Again, Membership Fees are due April 1st, and the office has been very busy with last minute payments. We encourage everyone to think about this before the end of the month. Your most recent statement will have any balance owing, and payments can be made by:
- Adding “Saskatoon Golf Country” as a payee in your online banking
- Etransfer to [email protected] (split payments if needed)
- Cheque – payable to SGCC
- In-person with debit card
- Credit card with additional 2% admin fee
