Saturday, May 2nd will be OPENING DAY!
SGCC is getting ready to open the golf course on Saturday. The grounds crew is focused on clean-up, and hopes to be able to touch-up the greens before we open. The last of the snow should be gone tomorrow, but some of the bunkers have not drained, and may not be raked until next week. Bathrooms will not be open yet.
Note: A decision on whether power carts are allowed will be made tomorrow afternoon, and more information provided in the Member Update.
Members can go to the Member Dashboard, to request tee-times for Saturday through Thursday next week.
- The cutoff to request a time is tomorrow (Friday) at 12Noon
- Members who are drawn for a time will get email confirmations as each day is drawn.
- The tee-sheet has enough space for about 128 golfers before Noon, and 260golfers each day
- The lottery system tracks success in each draw and prefers those who were less successful in the next draw.
- Guest play is not allowed through the first 6 days. We will re-evaluate this after the weekend and make an announcement after next weekend's tee-times are drawn
- Once each day is drawn, the tee-sheet becomes live for regular online bookings
Note: Tee-time requests can be made up to 14-days in advance. The cutoff to request a time for next weekend (May 8-10) is Monday at 12Noon. Draws for those dates are posted shortly after the cutoff.

The Driving Range will be open on Saturday, but the grass tee-boxes will not. A section of matts will be reserved for members with tee-times, which leaves limited space for regular practice. With that in mind, family range privileges are not available.
